For the past several. years I participated in an annual tradition of writing a poem a day during the month of April. A friend of mine would organize a group of writers to create a writing community online where we would post poems, comment on the work, and encourage each other.
The ebb and flow of life have caused the formality of the online writing group to take a pause. But the habit of writing or at least attempting to write poems this April persists in me.
